United Women of Wholeness Ministry (U-WOW)
The United Women of Wholeness Ministry is committed to serving the entire community at large placing a special emphasis on women empowerment and teen mentorship to young ladies. We are dedicated to sharing the word of God in an effort to uphold our church mission of, “Saving Souls, and Salvaging Lives. In love we strive to enable and enrich the lives that we touch in acts of service and support spiritually, physically and emotionally and we encourage other women to get involved by attending our monthly meetings held every 4th Saturday, at 11:30 am, in the Gus Johnson Community Center lounge. UBC Scholarship Ministry
The United Baptist Church Scholarship Ministry continues to nurture our youth by investing in their futures by awarding over $26,000 to community high school and college scholars since it’s inception.
Holy Hands (Interpreting Ministry)
Holy Hands Ministry shares the love of God with those who are deaf and hearing-impaired by interpreting the 11:00 am Worship Service and reaching out to the deaf community within Summit County. The ministry prays that God will lead interpreters and deaf members to find a place to belong at UBC Church.
Comforter’s/Repast Ministry
The Comforter’s/Repast Ministry will provide compassion through emotional and grief support to assist families who are experiencing varying types of loss.
Transportation Ministry
Need a ride to church? The Transportation Ministry supports UBC Church and its ministries by providing safe transportation to church and community members to and from UBC Church events and activities upon request.
